A local business renowned for its sweet treats has made the Canadian Business and Maclean’s annual Growth 500 list.

Terra Cotta Foods was ranked as No. 358 on the list that assesses Canadian businesses on their five-year revenue growth.

“As we celebrate over 30 years of the Canada’s Fastest-Growing Companies program, it’s encouraging to see that entrepreneurship is healthier than ever in this country,” said Beth Fraser, Growth 500 program manager.

Terra Cotta Foods Ltd. made the 2019 list with its five-year revenue growth of 195 per cent.

The company that’s known for its cookies, muffins, loaves and ice-cream sandwiches has been part of the Halton Hills community for 35 years and employs more than 50 people.
