Fundraising Manager, Kym Taal is the “Employee of the Year”

The Halton Hills Chamber of Commerce has selected Kym Taal as the 2015 “Employee of the Year”.

The key account & fundraising manager at Terra Cotta Cookie Co. has booked and co-ordinated over 50 community-based campaigns in the first half of 2015 and has helped oversee the growth of the Georgetown-based company with its product availability and international status in the food industry.

A passionate supporter of many sports and recreation activities, the Oakville native has strategically helped community organizations in Halton Hills raise funds for many important reasons in the past couple of years.

“Not only has this grown the business but has contributed money back into the pockets of worthy causes,” said Taal, a graduate of Western University.

“I have co-ordinated donations for many community organizations as my priority is to help the local community where we can.”

The signature ” Cookie Dough Drop” Fundraising program that Kym coordinates is a great way for all types of organizations raise these funds.

Possessing “a positive, go-getter attitude,” she is often on the road promoting the Terra Cotta Cookies brand and has traveled as far away as Abu-Dhabi in UAE to represent the company in its marketing efforts.
